The Hernando County School District has announced that schools are closed on Thursday, September 1, 2016, and will be open on Friday, September 2, 2016.
Pine Island Park is currently closed.
Three self-serve sandbag distribution sites are open at the following locations. Sand and sandbags will be available until 7:00 p.m. Bring your own shovel.
