Hernando County Damage Assessment Teams are currently operating county-wide conducting preliminary assessment surveys of damages from Hurricane Hermine. Residents are reminded to be aware of possible hazards as a result of the storm, such as: loose or dangling tree branches, damaged utility lines, tripping hazards, dislocated wildlife, hazardous materials, and/or submerged, sharp-edged debris.
Residents should take debris to one of the following Hernando County Solid Waste sites for disposal:
