(Brooksville, FL) The Hernando County Parks and Recreation Department announces that Pine Island Park reopened Saturday, September 10th. Parking will be temporarily operated by county staff.
Parking payments should be made in cash only until normal pay station services are restored.
Limited credit card payments will be accepted when available.
Efforts to ensure public safety in Pine Island and all other County parks affected by Hurricane Hermine continue to progress.
