2016 Hernando Untapped, Craft Beer and Wine Festival

This event takes place Friday October 21st from 6PM to 10PM at American Aviation Flight Academy. It is hosted by the Hernando County Chamber of Commerce and is very popular.

Last year the event drew an enormous crowd. Admission is $25 per person and includes a tasting glass and unlimited samplings of beer, wine and entertainment. You need to pre-purchase a ticket online and bring the print out ticket with you.

Food is available for purchase from local food truck vendors including Cajun In A Truck, Chef Images, Just Smokin BBQ, The Bacon Boss, Twisted Iron and Poppy’s Mexican. Entertainment is to include live music by the Bearded Brothers.

If you are a designated driver, admission is $10. DD ticket holders will receive complimentary soda, water and entertainment. Designated drivers do not receive a cup and are not permitted to sample the alcohol.

A VIP ticket for $50 is available for purchase and includes a one hour early admission, a complimentary tasting glass, VIP Swag bag, VIP Snacks, access to VIP area with private restrooms & seating.

Remember to bring proper photo identification as only those 21 and up will be admitted. You must bring your ticket with you to present for admission. You will not be admitted if you forget your ticket.

The venue is American Aviation Flight Academy located at 17076 Helicopter Drive off of Spring Hill Drive just east of the Suncoast Parkway. (Behind Gale Insulation – just west of Hwy 41). There will be parking available.

Camping with The Blues

If you enjoy camping and music, Camping with the Blues begins on Friday October 21st and runs through Monday October 24, 2016. It will take place at Sertoma Youth Ranch 85 85 Myers Rd, Brooksville, FL 34602.

Family Friendly Halloween Events


Past winners of Masquerade Madness

There are some great family friendly Halloween festivities happening Oct. 21st and 22nd including the Halloween Harvest Festival at the Hernando County Fairgrounds, Wild and Wicked Nights at Weeki Wachee Springs State Park and the Masquerade Madness Costume 5K – 10K – 1 Mile race. The Masquerade Madness race is a blast just to watch if you are not a runner.
