One job of the Supervisor of Elections is to canvas the votes as a member of the canvassing board. The November 8th election will be different since the current Supervisor of Elections, Shirley Anderson, is on the ballot and will not be on the canvassing board for the November 8th election. The canvassing board will consist of County Judge Kurt Hitzemann, Circuit Judge Donald Scaglione, Planning and Zoning Commission Chairman John Scharch. P & Z Vice Chairman Lynn Gruber-White is serving as an alternate. The canvassing board follows set guidelines to determine how questionable ballots are handled.
