An officer responded to a report of Grand Retail Theft. Upon arrival, the officer spoke to a Walmart Loss Prevention employee who said he saw Lavoie put about $800 worth of Hewitt Packard Ink in a large purse without paying for it. While trying to put Lavoie in custody, she resisted and fled on foot with Marc Haslam, who was also detained in this incident. The employee was able to apprehend Lavoie and provide video footage of the retail theft. A small black and white zipper purse containing numerous syringes and a silver spoon consistent with drug paraphernalia was found while searching Lavoie’s purse.

During routine patrol an officer pulled over a vehicle that had a broken tail light and license plate that was not illuminated. The officer smelled a strong marijuana odor upon approaching the passenger side door, and instructed Wade and his girlfriend, who was in the passenger seat, to exit the vehicle due to the smell. The officer found a “grinder” on the driver’s seat that contained a green substance that tested positive for the presence of marijuana.

Officers arrived after receiving a call from a male subject who said the 10-year-old victim answered the door crying saying she was home alone and did not know where her mom was. When officers were finally able to contact Guzman, she stated that she left her older daughter in charge of watching the victim. She later took back that statement and said she had left knowing the daughter was already gone at a friend’s house. According to the police report, Guzman did not let the victim know she was leaving nor did she give her a way to contact her.

The victim advised officers that his step father, Hunt, choked him and slammed him onto the ground. Police noticed redness on the victim’s neck that was consistent to his statement. Police also spoke to Hunt, who confirmed he had grabbed the victim by the neck and threw him onto the ground due to him “mouthing off.”

Police found Frascello lying face down on the side of the road in front of his vehicle. Police said he appeared to be intoxicated and was extremely hostile to both law enforcement and EMS personnel upon arrival. Police found a glass pipe with burnt residue and steel wool, that later tested positive for cocaine, inside of a hole on the driver’s seat.

Husband advised the officer that his wife Elizabeth Ward-Hunt choked him following an argument about the defendant’s son. The husband went outside to make a phone call and he would not tell her who he was calling which upset Elizabeth and she began to choke him. Her husband was able to push her away. She admitted to choking him, so she could get the phone out of his hand.

Doctor’s wife was arguing with a neighbor and her son attempted to break up the fight. Doctor, who admitted that he had been drinking approached the son and the neighbor. The son asked Doctor why he was letting his mother fight the neighbor at which point Doctor grabbed the son by the throat and threw him up against the car. The officer did not observe any injuries to the son.

An officer responded to a possible injunction violation at a residence in Spring Hill. Benjamin Jablon answered the door and identified himself. The officer asked him if he had identification and he did not. The officer noticed Jablon getting nervous and grabbed his wrist and told him that he was being detained until he could be positively identified. Jablon struck the officer with his right shoulder into his chest and continued to resist this officer and another deputy until they threatened to taser him. Jablon began to cooperate and stated, “I’m a registered felon. You’re going to do this to me? Can’t you give me a disorderly conduct? I understand I shouldn’t have resisted or pushed you, but do you really have to take me to jail?”
