Night and day lane closures on SR 50 in the I-75 area
Ridge Manor, FL – One lane of SR 50 (Cortez Boulevard) may be closed from I-75 up to a half mile in each direction between 6:30 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Sunday through Thursday (January 15 – 19) nights and from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday (January 16 -20).
During some of the night closures, drivers can expect traffic shifts and delays between 7:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. on SR 50 in the I-75 interchange area as traffic may be reduced to one lane in each direction and both directions of traffic placed on the westbound lanes. This will result in two-way traffic on what normally is a two-lane westbound section of roadway.
In addition, all traffic entering and exiting I-75 may be limited to right turns only. This will mean drivers who normally would be making a left turn movement onto or off the ramps may have to go the opposite direction and make a U-Turn on SR 50 to go in their desired direction. Traffic congestion and delays are expected during the traffic shifts on SR 50 and on the I-75 exit ramps whenever traffic is in this temporary overnight alignment.

DETOUR: Continue on SR 60 under I-275 and turn right at the traffic signal onto westbound Kennedy Boulevard. Continue to the end of the road onto the southbound I-275 entrance ramp.

Tampa, FL – One lane may be closed on northbound I-75 from I-4 (Exit 261) to the Tampa Bypass Canal (about 2 miles north of I-4 and south of Fowler Avenue/Exit 265) between 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Friday night, January 13 and Sunday through Thursday (January 15 – 19) nights.

Tampa, FL – One lane may be closed and controlled by flagging operations on Sligh Avenue under the I-4/I-75 interchange area any time of the day or night Friday and Saturday (January 13 and 14) and Monday through Saturday (January 16 – 21).

project news: I-75 Widening from north of County Road 54 to north of State Road 52
State Road 52 may be closed nightly at I-75
San Antonio, FL – State Road 52 may be closed under I-75 between 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Thursday through Saturday (January 12 – 21) nights as crews demolish the northbound I-75 bridge over SR 52 (northbound traffic was shifted to the new southbound bridge on January 12, 2017 for the next construction phase). All interchange ramps will be open, but traffic will not be able to cross under I-75 on SR 52. DETOUR: Traffic will be detoured onto the interstate to the next interchange and then back onto the interstate in the other direction to exit at SR 52 and continue in the original travel direction. Here are the specific detour directions:
EASTBOUND SR 52 DETOUR: Eastbound SR 52 traffic will be directed onto southbound I-75 then directed to exit at CR 54 (Exit 279). Traffic will turn left off the exit ramp and cross under I-75, then turn left and enter northbound I-75 to Exit 285 and go right off the ramp onto eastbound SR 52.
WESTBOUND SR 52 DETOUR: Westbound SR 52 traffic will be directed onto northbound Interstate 75 then directed to exit at CR 41 (Exit 293). Traffic will turn right off the ramp and cross over I-75, then turn left and enter southbound I-75 to Exit 285 and go right off the ramp onto westbound SR 52.

New exit point for northbound I-75 exit ramp to SR 52
San Antonio, FL – A new, temporary exit point for traffic exiting northbound I-75 to State Road 52 (Exit 285) opened this morning (Thursday, January 12).
Motorists should be aware that this new exit point is about one-quarter mile south of the previous exit ramp, so drivers need to look to exit sooner. If drivers pass the new exit point, the next exit (CR 41/Exit 293) is about 8 miles north. This new temporary exit point to SR 52 is expected to be in place for about four months.
