Arrest Summary Excerpt: “On today’s date at approximately 1744 hours, while the victim Nicholas Swansinger was picking up his child from the Boys and Girls Club located at 5400 Applegate Drive, his ex-wife, Heather Osborne-Swansinger, walked up behind Nicholas and shoved him using both her left and right hands, almost causing Nicholas to fall down. The incident was captured on surveillance video.
Nicholas lifted is shirt in which noticed, on the right side of his back, he had several red marks of which pictures were taken of.
then made contact with the defendant, Heather Osborne-Swansinger at 4347 Tartan Avenue. The defendant advised that her ex-husband of four months, Nicholas Swansinger, was at the Boys and Girls Club at which time the defendant stated that Nicholas owed her money and had promised to pay her today however he did not. Due to him ignoring her phone calls and text messages, the defendant walked up to Nicholas and shoved him. The defendant provided a sworn written statement that was placed into evidence.
Due to all the statements made, as well as the evidence at hand, I placed the defendant under arrest for Domestic Battery and transported her to the Hernando County Jail. The defendant was given a court date of 06/28/2017 in Courtroom B at 0900 hours. Due to this being domestic in nature, she was held on a no bond status.”

Arrest Summary Excerpt: “On 06/03/2017, affiant observed the defendant to be pushing a gas motorized Gator Scooter at the intersection of Canterbury Street and London Avenue, Spring Hill, Hernando County. Affiant observed the keys to still be in the ignition while the defendant was pushing the scooter eastbound on Canterbury Street from London Avenue.
Upon making contact with the defendant, he identified himself via his Florida identification card. The defendant advised that the gas motorized scooter he was driving had just stalled and he was pushing it home. A check through FCIC/NCIC revealed that the defendant’s driver license was suspended on 10062015 for failure to pay financial obligation. The defendant advised that he knew his license was suspended.
He was found in actual possession of the gas motorized scooter, where he was placed into custody and transported to the Hernando County Detention Center without incident. The defendant was placed on a $500 bond and given a court date of 06282017 at 0900 hours, in Courtroom B. The defendant was subsequently issued Uniform Traffic Citation A1YP3VP for DWLSR w/ knowledge.”

Arrest Summary Excerpt: “On 6/3117 responded to 16392 Melissa Drive, Brooksville, Florida in reference to a battery. Upon arrival contact was made with Thomas Cockill. Thomas advised that he was awoken by his wife, the defendant, because she wanted him to purchase her more beer from the local gas station. Thomas advised that he felt she had consumed enough alcohol for the night so he refused to purchase more for her. Thomas then added that the defendant became irate about this and began yelling at Thomas. Thomas attempted to walk away from her to deescalate the situation but was then hit in the back of the head by the defendant with an open hand. Thomas advised that the defendant stuck him two times on the back of his head causing minor redness. Thomas did not require treatment from EMS. Photographs of his injury were taken.
The defendant was placed on a no bond status due to the domestic nature of the offense. The defendant was given a court date of 6/28/2017 at 0900 hours in courtroom B. A victim notification pamphlet was completed and left with jail staff.”

Arrest Summary Excerpt: “On 6/3/17, I responded to 208 Tulsa Avenue in reference to a domestic battery. The victim, Damion Ferrer, advised that he and his girlfriend/defendant, Debra Dotson, reside as a family at this residence. Damion advised that he and the defendant engaged in a verbal altercation in bed, at which time he left the bedroom and laid on the living room couch to separate from her. Damion advised that the defendant then followed him out to the couch and re-engaged in a heated verbal altercation. Damion advised that the defendant then “slapped my balls”. Damion advised that he then grabbed a pillow from the couch and used it to push the defendant away from him. Damion advised that as he used the pillow to push the defendant away and his fingernail scratched the defendant’s upper lip. Damion advised that he then responded outside to again separate himself from the defendant.
The defendant advised that she is suspecting Damion of “cheating on me with prostitutes”. The defendant advised that Damion attempted to engage in sexual intercourse with her in bed this morning, at which time she denied him due to the suspected “cheating”. The defendant advised that Damion then left the bedroom and laid on the living room couch. The defendant advised that she decided to follow Damion to the living room to “resolve the situation”. The defendant then stated that she advised Damion that “there is more to life than the end of your d*ck” and proceeded to “graze his balls”. The defendant advised that Damion then “grabbed and scratched my face” at which time she obtained an abrasion to her upper lip. The defendant did have a minor abrasion to her upper lip. The defendant denied that Damion ever grabbed any pillows.
The defendant was then subsequently placed under arrest and transported to the Hernando County Jail, where she is being held on a no-bond status, per the bond schedule. The defendant was given a misdemeanor court date of 6/28/17 courtroom B, at 0900 hours.”
Escaped Inmate from Gilchrist County Arrested

Arrest Summary Excerpt: “On O6-3-2017 at 1038 hours, the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office received a be on the look out alert bulletin from the Gilchrist County Sheriff’s Office that stated Tyler Trutt just escaped a State of Florida Department of Corrections work detail in Gilchrist County and stole a Gilchrist County white Ford F150 pick up truck with County Tag 221372. The teletype stated that Tyler may be en route to the area of Hernando County and is wanted for escape.
At 1551 hours we received information from the Gilchrist Sheriff’s Office that stated they were pining Tyler’s cellphone and it was in Hernando County. It was confirmed that Tyler had an active warrant for escape with a no bond on behalf of the Florida Department of Corrections under U55126.
Multiple units, along with the Air Unit, responded to the area of Croom Road and Trail 7. The air unit located the white F-150 about 1/4 mile north on Trail 7 from Croom Road.
Deputy Brandhuber and made contact with Tyler who was sitting in the driver’s seat of a white F-150 with county tag 221372. The keys were in the ignition, the vehicle was running and was in the drive position when we first made contact. We ordered Tyler out of the truck and placed him into custody.
Tyler’s identity was confirmed with his prison ID that was left in the truck, as well his date of birth and Social Security number.
The vehicle was confirmed stolen by Operator 33 out of Gilchrist County and stated that it belonged to the Gilchrist County School Board.
I then placed Tyler under arrest for Grand Theft-Auto.
Tyler was transported to the Hernando County Jail and held on aS4,000.00 bond and issued a felony court date of 06-27-2017 at 0900 hours in Courtroom D. A hold was placed on him for the Gilchrist County warrant with a no bond status. The details of the warrant are: “Inmate Tyler Trutt escaped from Bridges of Lake City on 06022017 while serving 1y 7m sentence out of Hernando County for charges of grand theft firearm and burgunoccstruclicv or att which were imposed on 08262016 inmate is wanted for the unserved portion of that sentence”

Arrest Summary Excerpt: “On 06/03/2017 at approximately 1642 hours I was dispatched to the Circle K located at 14195 Elgin Blvd. in regards to a theft. Upon arrival contact was made with Laura Martin who is a clerk at Circle K. Laura advised on 06/02/2017 a white male entered the store at approximately 2307 hours and stole a Four Loco. At approximately 2307 hours the white male, later identified by a second store clerk as Christian Alicea. The second clerk, Nicholas Blanchette, advised he knew the suspect and that he did not live far away. observed surveillance video and could see the defendant, Christian Alicea, remove a Four Loco alcoholic beverage with a value of $3.19, place it into his right pocket and walk out of the store, passing all points of sale.
I was then able to make contact with the defendant at 4411 Sterling Hill Blvd. at the basketball courts. I asked the defendant what happened on 06/02/2017 at approximately 2307 hours and the defendant advised he and his friend went to Circle K. The defendant stated he stole two Four Locos before leaving the store. The defendant completed a sworn written statement which was placed in Evidence. The defendant was placed under arrest for retail petit theft and transported to the Hernando County Jail where he was held on a $500 bond and given a court of 06/28/2017 in courtroom B at 0900 hours. It should be noted the defendant was very cooperative with the investigation.”
No Rear Lights Leads to Arrest for Outstanding Warrant

Arrest Summary Excerpt: “On 06/04/2017, law enforcement observed a black car heading eastbound on Cortez Boulevard, in the area of Remington Road. A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle for no lights emitting from the rear of the vehicle to include running lights and tag lights, which stopped in the area of Parkland Avenue and Cortez Boulevard. Contact was made with the driver/defendant who identified himself a Deontae Deshaun Church (DOB: 03/05/1993). The defendant advised that he did not have a valid driver’s license and that he had no form of identification. The defendant provided this information on three separate occasions. While talking with the defendant, writer observed a strong odor, which based upon writer’s training and experience writer knew to be marijuana, which was emitting from the vehicle. A search of the vehicle was conducted which was negative for any contraband, but did yield an identification card for a Trevon Marquis Church (DOB: 07/27/1994). When confronted with the identification and a RAPID Identification Scanner, the defendant advised that this was his ID card and that he had lied about his identification due to him having a warrant for his arrest. The defendant also advised that he had a small amount of marijuana concealed in his boxers, which he provided to law enforcement.
The defendant was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Hernando County Jail where he was turned over to jail staff. The defendant was given a total bond of $2,500 for all charges, in accordance with the bond schedule and a hold was placed on him for Pasco County.”
Held Two Knives and a Spatula Over His Head while saying “b*tch I will cut you”

Arrest Summary Excerpt: “On 6-4-17, I responded to 1191 Howell Ave (John Mason Catering Company) in reference to an Assault. Upon arrival, contact was made with the victim, Jennifer Williams. The victim stated that her co-worker, the defendant, Thomas Smith, and she got into a verbal altercation. The victim stated that the verbal altercation ensued about work related issues at which time the defendant became very angry. The defendant then picked up a large kitchen knife with his left hand and then another large kitchen knife along with a spatula with his right hand. The victim stated that the defendant held the knives over his head with his arms extended and stood right in front of her. The victim stated the defendant then said, “bitch I will cut you” while holding the knives as if he were going to stab her. The victim stated she was in fear that the defendant was going to stab her with the knives. The victim then grabbed a knife sharpener to defend herself at which time the defendant put down the knives and spatula.
I made contact with an independent witness, Amy Colvin, who was in the kitchen area of the company when the incident took place. The witness stated she observed the defendant grab the knives and spatula and hold them over his head as if he were going to stab the victim. The witness stated she heard the defendant say he was going to cut the victim.
I then made contact with the defendant at his residence of 8398 Belmont Rd. When l attempted to detain the defendant he attempted to flee into a trailer on his property. The defendant was physically resisting and was taken down to the ground to be apprehended. Once on the ground the defendant continued to resist and with a minimal amount of physical force the defendant was finally placed into handcuffs.
Once the defendant was placed into custody I read him his Miranda Rights via my agency issued Miranda Rights card. Post Miranda, the defendant stated that he did pick up the knives. The defendant stated he picked up the knives because the victim picked up the knife sharpener first and he was trying to protect himself.
The defendant was transported to the Hernando County Jail without further incident. The defendant was charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Resisting without violence. The defendant was issued a total bond amount of $3,000.00 and given a court date of 6-27-17 at 0900 hours in room D of the Hernando County courthouse.”
