On 07-17-17 at approximately 7:20 p.m., a representative from Oak Hill Hospital notified the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office that a male juvenile arrived in the emergency department suffering from a gunshot wound.
Deputies and detectives were immediately dispatched to the hospital.
Physicians treating the male juvenile advised detectives that the gunshot wound was not life-threatening.
According to the victim, the incident took place “somewhere in Spring Hill.” Detectives have yet to verify the actual location where the shooting took place.
