Purchasing and Contracts Manager James Wunderle presented the final close-out of the contract with Southern Roofing Company after a partial roof replacement was completed on the Hernando County Utilities Department (HCUD) building. The final cost was $116,505, which was the original estimate.
Recently the A/C and HVAC system was repaired by Gibson Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, LLC for $215,481.50.
The county purchased the former Times Building for the headquarters of the Utilities Department in 2015 for $4.15 million.
