On 09-27-17 at approximately 4:50 p.m., Hernando County detectives along with members of the US Marshal’s Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force were attempting to serve an arrest warrant in the Trillium subdivision.
The warrant listed several counts of Sexual Battery on a Child.
The suspect was located driving on Trillium Boulevard.
Law enforcement officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop and execute the arrest warrant. During this time, gunfire was exchanged between law enforcement officers and the suspect.
The suspect is deceased on scene.
