Arrest Summary Excerpt: “On 11/22/2017, I initiated a traffic stop on the above said vehicle for unlawful speed after it was clocked on radar doing 72 miles per hour in a posted 55 mile per hour speed zone. Upon making contact with the defendant, I was informed that he did not have a valid driver’s license because it was expired and possibly suspended. A subsequent computer check did show that not only did the defendant’s Florida driver’s license expire on 06/30/2010, it had also been suspended/revoke a total of 6 times. The most recent revocation occurred on 11/17/2016, when it was revoked for 60 months for being a habitual traffic offender.
The defendant was placed under arrest for Driving While Licence Suspended/Revoked with Knowledge and transported without incident to the Hernando County Jail.”

Arrest Summary Excerpt: “The defendant Jennifer Paolino (the defendant) was involved in a two vehicle accident. The driver of the other vehicle served as a wheel witness and stated she was operating the vehicle at the time of the accident. The defendant failed to navigate a curve and came into the victim’s lane, striking the right front tire and fender, rendering the vehicle inoperable.
Writer arrived on scene and conducted a traffic crash investigation and observed the defendant to have slurred speech, bloodshot watery eyes, a strong odor of alcohol emanating from her person, as well as being unsteady on her feet. When the defendant was asked for her license, registration and proof of insurance, she handed writer her cell phone. When asked again for her paperwork, she went to the driver’s side of her vehicle, retrieved her insurance information and then had to be reminded to find her vehicle registration. She then held open her owner’s manual case and slid out her owner’s manual and asked whether or not she was good. She had to be reminded again for her registration, which she finally provided. Upon completion of the traffic crash investigation, writer advised the defendant he was conducting a DUI investigation, at which time, she was read Miranda and she refused to submit to field sobriety exercises. She was taken into custody without incident and she was advised she was under arrest for DUI.
Upon arrival at the jail, she asked what she was under arrest for and she had to be advised DUI. The defendant refused to provide a breath sample. The defendant was given a court date of 12/20/2017 courtroom B, and a total bond of $2,000.”

Arrest Summary Excerpt: “On 11/24/2017, I was dispatched to the Walmart located at 13300 Cortez Blvd in reference to a Grand Retail Theft.
Upon arrival, I made contact with the defendant who was observed by the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office Air Unit running behind the Circle K gas station heading towards the Walgreen’s. The defendant was observed wearing a blue long sleeve shirt, white shorts, and flip-flops. It should be noted that the suspect description provided was a white female, wearing a dark colored shirt, white shorts and flip-flops.
The defendant was asked where she was coming from, which she replied McDonald’s. It should be noted; the witness observed that the defendant left the shopping cart behind the dumpster at McDonald’s. I asked the defendant if she just came from the Walmart across the street. The defendant advised she was not at Walmart. I then asked the defendant if she walked across the Dollar-Tree and Bealls’ parking lot, and the defendant denied being there as well. The defendant was then detained as I waited for the witness, who was still in the Walmart parking lot, to come identify the defendant.
Witness Douglas D. then arrived on scene, and positively identified the defendant as the subject who was walking out of the Walmart with a shopping cart full of items. Douglas advised after he observed the defendant walking out of the store while staff members were verbally demanding her to stop, he followed her as she walked across the parking lot and also advised her to stop. Douglas stated he asked the defendant if she just stole the items, she replied yes; she then continued to walk across the Mariner Square parking lot with all of the merchandise.
I was provided a receipt of all the recovered stolen property by Walmart staff that totaled $1,159.47. When I informed the defendant of the total amount of merchandise, she uttered, “There’s no way it was that much.”
The defendant was then transported to the Hernando County Jail and placed on a $2,000 bond per the bond schedule. The defendant was provided a court date of 12/18/2017 at 0900 hours in courtroom E.”

Arrest Summary Excerpt: “The defendant was observed to be operating a blue in color Chrysler PT Cruiser, bearing FL tag DQCH25, in the area of Spring Hill Drive and Kenlake Avenue. The vehicle was observed to be swerving in and out of its lane, at which time a traffic stop was conducted.
Contact was made with the defendant who was the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle. Upon making contact with the defendant, affiant observed the defendant to be exhibiting signs of impairment and an odor of an alcoholic beverage was emitting from his person. Additionally, affiant observed in plain view, a silver “Steel Reserve” 24 ounce can of beer resting in a cup holder in the center console. At this time, field sobriety exercises were conducted which further showed the defendant to be impaired.
The defendant was taken into custody for driving while under the influence, where he was transported to the Hernando County Jail without incident. While at the jail, the defendant provided two breath samples, which showed his blood alcohol level to be 0.279 and 0.264. The defendant was given a bond of $1,000 and a court date of 12/20/17 at 0900 hours in Courtroom B.”

Arrest Summary Excerpt: “On 11/24/2017 writer responded to 9487 Christine Ln, Spring Hill, Hernando County, Florida to serve a felony arrest warrant on the defendant, Kalifornia Wolfgang Rogers. Upon arrival the defendant was observed on the property in a vehicle. Writer and other deputies announced Sheriff’s Office presence and the defendant was observed exiting the driver’s side front seat of the vehicle and fleeing into the residence he was parked in front of. Writer gave lawful orders for the defendant to stop which he ignored. The defendant was pursued into the residence where a brief struggle ensued. The defendant refused to obey commands to place his hands behind his back and actively resisted arrest by moving his arms and hands from behind his back. The defendant was then taken into custody.
A pat down search of the defendant’s person was conducted and in his front left khaki shorts pocket writer located three separate clear baggies with a green, leafy substance within. The green leafy substance was field tested and showed a positive indication for the presence of THC. The manner in which the marijuana was separately packaged indicated that it was for sale, based on writer’s training and experience. The defendant was read his Miranda rights and refused to make any statements/comments.
Located in the vehicle that the defendant exited were large amounts of green leafy substance, digital scales and items of paraphernalia. The defendant along with two other subjects, also arrested, were within the vehicle smoking marijuana. The green leafy substance located on the defendant was weighed to be 37.7 grams. The defendant was placed under arrest and transported to the Hernando County Jail. The defendant was issued a court date of 12/18/2017 at 0830 hours in Courtroom E of the Hernando County Courthouse. The defendant is currently being held on a total bond of $4,000.00.”

Arrest Summary Excerpt: “On 11/25/2017 Loss Prevention officers observed the defendant, Tyler, enter the electronics department and select two boxes containing 5’’ charger cables for cell phones and a USB charger. Tyler was then observed removing the items from their boxes and placing them inside of his left jacket sleeve and his left jacket pocket. Tyler then purchased a pizza and during payment made no attempts to pay for the concealed items on his person. Tyler then exited the business out the grocery side, passing all points of sale, and making no attempt to pay for the concealed items. Tyler was apprehended and cooperative. During a spontaneous utterance, Tyler was extremely apologetic and stated that he messed up. He was homeless living out of his car and had money to pay for the concealed items. Tyler also stated that he had just started to work for a landscaping company and needed to save money to pay for a replacement clutch for his vehicle.
The theft was captured on surveillance cameras. The total amount of the merchandise recovered was $42.59.
Due to the evidence, statements, and recovered property, Tyler was arrested for petit theft and transported to the Hernando County Jail. Tyler was provided with a court date of 12/20/2017 in Courtroom B at 0900 hours. Tyler is being held on a $500.00 bond per the bond schedule.”

Arrest Summary Excerpt: “On today’s date I responded to …Oliver St in reference to a battery.
Upon arrival contact was with the defendant, Brenda and the victim Christine advised the defendant and herself were engaged in a verbal argument, due to the defendant believing that Christine was having sexual relations with the defendant’s boyfriend. Christine advised during the argument, the defendant pushed her in the chest and slapped her across the face and neck. Christine also advised that she is four months pregnant and the defendant did know she was pregnant.
I observed a scratch mark on Christine’s chest, as well as redness in the chest area. I also observed a scratch to Christine’s right side of her upper neck, behind her ear. Christine advised she did not need medical attention.
Contact was made with a Christine’s boyfriend Kalvin S, who witnessed the entire incident. Kalvin stated they were all inside their residence, when the defendant began yelling at Christine. Kalvin advised the defendant was accusing Christine of sleeping with the defendant’s boyfriend. Kalvin stated the defendant then pushed Christine in the chest and slapped her across the neck. Kalvin advised the defendant did know Christine was pregnant and they had just been talking about it earlier in the day.
Contact was made with another witness who advised he did not see anything, but did hear some commotion.
Both Christine and Kalvin advised they reside at …Oliver St. and they have been living there for approximately two months. The defendant, Christine and Kalvin all advised they live at the residence as a family and share all the common areas of the residence.
I made contact with the defendant who advised she and Christine did not have any altercation. The defendant advised she did not “hit” Christine, due to her knowing Christine was pregnant. The defendant advised she was arguing with Christine earlier in the day; however, it did not become physical.
Due to witnesses statements and visible injuries to Christine, the defendant was placed into custody.”

Arrest Summary Excerpt: “On November 26, 2017 while conducting routine patrol, a traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle due to it not having any headlights on. While speaking with the driver and the passenger (defendant) of the vehicle I asked if there were any weapons or anything illegal inside the vehicle. At that time the defendant immediately stated, “I have some marijuana wax right next to me in the door.” Both the driver and defendant were then asked to step out of the vehicle and were detained. The driver also admitted to having a small amount of marijuana in his book bag in the back seat. See case # 2017-35717 for further on the initial traffic stop and arrest of the driver. The marijuana wax, a metal scalpel, and a pipe used for smoking the wax was located and all the items field tested positive for having the presence of THC. There were a total of 5 small containers which had individual weights of 4.1 grams, 5.8 grams, 5.8 grams, 5.8 grams, and 5.8 grams. They had a total combined weight of 27.3 grams including the containers. The weights of those items included the containers the wax was located inside of.
The defendant was placed under arrest and transported to the Hernando County Jail without further incident.

Arrest Summary Excerpt: “On 11/26/2017 writer responded to the Walgreens store located at 7305 Spring Hill Dr, Spring Hill, Hernando County, Florida in reference to a criminal mischief call for service. Upon arrival contact was made with the victim, who stated that the defendant forcibly removed the gas cap from their Jeep, breaking the gas cap. The victim took several photographs of the defendant and the vehicle the defendant drove to the store. The defendant left the area prior to law enforcement arriving on scene.
A license plate query revealed an address for the defendant to be 1320 Markham Ave in Spring Hill. The driver’s license photograph located within the computer system known as ELVIS matched the description of the defendant as seen in the victim’s photographs.
Writer arrived at the defendant’s listed address and observed the defendant to drive by his home once he noticed law enforcement. The defendant was then observed by law enforcement walking towards his residence, units arrived back at the Markham residence and made contact with the defendant, identified as Edward Padilla,. The defendant exited the front door of the residence and immediately stated that he made a “stupid mistake” and that he did not know why he broke the gas cap or tried to take it from the victim.
The defendant was placed under arrest for criminal mischief at that time. The total dollar amount for the gas cap was estimated at approximately $10.00. The defendant was transported to the Hernando County Jail where he was issued a court date of 12/20/2017 at 0900 hours in Courtroom B. The defendant was issued a bond of $1,000.00.”
