Arrest Summary Excerpt: “On 12-15-2017, at 0907 hours, I responded to …Richardson Boulevard in reference to a domestic battery. Sumter County Detective Arron S. had contacted the Sheriff’s Office and stated that he believed a domestic battery had occurred here. I made contact with Detective S. by phone, who stated that his daughter is friends with Reygen S. Detective S. stated that Reygen told his daughter that her mother was punched in the face [by] her step dad and her finger was broken.
On arrival I made contact with Jeremy and asked to talk to Jamie. Jamie walked outside and Jeremy demanded to know why I was there, and I explained I was investigating a domestic issue. Jeremy began to yell that he wanted Jamie’s daughters out of the home and that nothing had occurred. I then asked Jamie to walk over to my car, to speak to her alone.
I made contact with Jamie…, who stated she did get into a verbal argument with her husband, Jeremy Rogers, this morning. Jamie was holding her right hand under her sweater. Jamie stated Jeremy stomped on some Christmas lights, breaking them, and she threw them out of the bedroom door to the outside. Jamie stated that Jeremy picked up the projection lights and threw them back inside the door and one of the broken pieces hit her hand as it went by and jammed her finger. Jamie showed me her right hand and she had a small cut on her right little finger. Jamie stated she does not believe that Jeremy threw the light to hit her, but that he gets very mad.
I then made contact with Jeremy, who stated that nothing had happened and everything was fine. I asked him about the argument and he said he never touched his wife. He did state that he broke a projection Christmas light because he was mad and threw them back inside the house and it might have bounced off the tile floor in the bedroom and struck Jamie’s hand. Jeremy stated he was not sure if the lights struck Jamie, but he would not have done it on purpose. I could see that Jeremy had fresh scratches on top of his head that were bleeding. I asked him how he got the injury and he told me he did not know.
I then made contact Jamie, who showed me the broken Christmas projection light that was in the garbage. I did take photos of this and placed the media card into Property under SG-1. I also took photos of the injures on her hand. I asked her how Jeremy got the cut on his head and she told me that Jeremy was very mad and he head butted a box fan that was on the dresser.
I then made contact with Jeremy again and asked him about the cut on his head. I told Jeremy I already knew what had occurred.
Jeremy stated he did head butt the fan on the dresser and lied about it because he did not want me to think that he was “out of control”.
I them made contact with 20 year old Tarah F. by phone, who is Jamie’s daughter. Tarah stated that she was home during this argument but did not see what had occurred. Tarah was crying and stated that she believes Jeremy can be “very violent” and he yells a lot. Tarah stated that Reygan told her that she her hand trying to keep Jeremy out of the house.
I then made contact with Reygen by phone, who was with Sumter County Deputy Michael S. Reygen stated that she was woken up by her mom, Jamie, and Jeremy screaming at each other and throwing things. Reygen stated that she walked into her mom’s bedroom and Jeremy was outside, but standing in the outside doorway. Reygen stated Jeremy was about two feet away from Jamie and he threw the projection Christmas lights and intentionally hit Jamie in the hand with them. Reygen sated her mother was crying and believed that her finger was broken.
Reygen stated that they locked Jeremy outside of the home and she was holding the door closed, but he was able to push it open and her right hand got hit with the door. Reygen stated her hand was swollen and there was a scab that got ripped open. Reygen stated her mother was crying about how afraid she was of Jeremy. Reygen stated that Jeremy left the home for a while and she was standing in the driveway, waiting for the bus, and when he pulled in she had to jump out of the driveway because she thought Jeremy was going to hit her with the truck. Reygen stated no one else witnessed this.
I made contact with Deputy S, who stated that Reygen’s hand was swollen and red.
I again made contact with Jeremy, who denied ever trying to hit Reygen with the truck.
Based on the fact that Jeremy admitted to throwing the lights out of anger and Jamie stating she was hit with the lights and Reygen stating that it was an intentional act, I placed Jeremy under arrest for domestic battery. I then transported him to the Jail, where he was held on no bond status and issued a misdemeanor court date of 01-10-2018 at 0900 hours in Courtroom B.
A victim notification sheet was left at the jail.
I made contact with Lisa ID 172 with DCF, who stated she would take a report about this incident.
Jamie was issued a domestic violence pamphlet with an intake date of 01-05-2018 R at 1030 hours that she signed for.”

Arrest Summary Excerpt: “On 12/16/2017 I responded to 3422 Knotty Oaks Circle in Spring Hill, Hernando County, Florida in reference to a trespass, later reclassified to a narcotics case.
Upon arrival, contact was made with the complainant Pearl. The complainant advised that the defendant Jonathon Lawrence and his girlfriend have been recently using drugs. The complainant walked me to the spare bedroom in the home which is located on the north side. The complainant showed me the bed, to which I observed a clear hypodermic needle with an orange cap to be laying with an unknown clear substance filled to approximately 40 milligrams.
Contact was then made with the defendant in the garage of the home. The defendant advised that he is an active drug user and advised that the liquid inside of the syringe was Methamphetamine. The defendant advised that the syringe and its contents belonged to him. The clear liquid substance was field tested using NarcoTest 7623, which turned ‘blue’ indicating it was positive for Methamphetamine.
The syringe and the contents were weighed using OHAUS model number C305-P, serial number 23392, to be 3.3 grams in total weight.
The defendant was placed under arrest and transported to the Hernando County Jail without incident where he is being held on a $5,000 bond per the bond schedule. The defendant was issued a court date of 01/09/2018 in courtroom D of the Hernando County Courthouse at 0900.”

Arrest Summary Excerpt: “On 12/15/2017 I responded to 34945 Talisman Street, Dade City, Florida in reference to a possible shooting.
Upon arrival contact was made with victim, Veronica S. Veronica advised that she observed the defendant’s white in color Ford E250 van driving around the neighborhood moments before the incident occurred. Veronica was at the residence addressed above with David and Darek.
Contact was made with both David and Darek who advised that they could hear the gunshots as well as see the vehicle the defendant occupied. David and Darek also stated that they observed the defendant driving a white in color Ford van that they knew to be his vehicle. Both subjects advised that they see the defendant in this vehicle daily.
Contact was then made with the defendant at his residence of 3210 Tulip Street, Dade City, Florida. Outside of the residence, I observed a white colored Ford van that matched the description given by the victims. The vehicle was bearing Florida tag 2060TX. A check of the tag on the vehicle revealed that it is registered to the defendant. I then made contact with the defendant. The defendant was read Miranda warning via the back of my agency issued written statement to which he signed the statement, stating that he knew and understood his rights. The defendant waived his rights and agreed to speak with deputies. Post Miranda the defendant admitted to discharging two separate firearms (Hi-Point Model 992 Serial number 522448 and an Escort Hatsan Arms Company serial number 594904) into the dwelling that he knew Veronica occupied. The defendant stated that he had no intentions on harming Veronica or the other subjects present.
The defendant was placed into custody and transported to the Hernando County Jail without incident. The defendant was given a court date of 01/09/2018 at 0900 hours in Courtroom D. The defendant is being placed on a no bond status due to the crime being domestic in nature.”

Arrest Summary Excerpt: “On 12-16-2017, I responded to the area of Nakoma Way and Allen Drive in reference to Deputy H requesting back up on a traffic stop. Upon my arrival, Deputy H advised that while on an off duty detail for the Heather Community, he observed a white Chevrolet S10, bearing Florida tag GHIU70 traveling east on Nakoma Way. The vehicle had two auxiliary light bars that were on which were located in the vehicles front bumper. At that time, Deputy H completed a traffic stop on said vehicle on Nakoma Way in which he made contact with the driver/defendant, Austin Todd, who was identified by his Florida Driver’s license. Upon Deputy H approaching the vehicle and talking with the defendant, he detected a pungent odor emanating from the vehicle which he recognized as being Marijuana. Deputy H then asked the defendant if there was any marijuana in the vehicle, at which time the defendant advised that there was. The defendant then handed Deputy H a small black ziplock back which contained a clear plastic zip lock bag inside, which contained a green leafy substance inside of the clear plastic bag. The green leafy substance later field tested positive for THC utilizing Narco Test Kit #7609. The green leafy substance weighed a total amount of 8.1 grams which was weighed on a OHAUS scale model number C305-P serial number 23392, located at the jail.
At that time, Deputy H removed the defendant from the vehicle in which upon completing a search of the vehicle, a black key box was located under the middle console arm rest which contained 4 white rectangular pills which contained the imprint X AN X 2. A check of Drugs.com revealed the pills to be 2 mg Xanax, which Drugs.com showed as being a schedule 4 controlled substance. The pills weighed a total amount of 1.1 grams which were weighed on an OHAUS scale model number C305-P serial number 23392 at the jail.
Further search of the vehicle revealed a glass pipe with blue lines located in the ashtray on the front dash of the vehicle. The residue on the pipe tested positive for THC utilizing Narco Test Kit #7608.
Deputy H then completed a search of the defendant incident to arrest which revealed a clear glass pipe in his back pocket which contained a crystal like residue. The residue tested positive for Methamphetamine utilizing Narco Test Kit #7602.
Upon the defendant being placed under arrest, I completed a thorough search of the defendant in which all pockets of the defendants pants were flipped out, revealing no further contraband. The defendant was then transported to the Hernando County Jail without incident. Upon arriving at the jail, I asked the defendant if he was in possession of any other illegal narcotics on his body which were not discovered while being searched by Deputy H and myself which the defendant stated, “No I don’t have anything on me”.
Upon the jail completing a search of the defendant, a small clear plastic bag was located in his front right pocket which contained a crystal like substance inside. Due to the bag not being present in the defendant’s front pocket while being placed under arrest, the defendant was questioned in reference to the bag which he advised that he had no idea where it come from or how it became located in his front pocket. The crystal like substance tested positive for Methamphetamine utilizing Narco Test Kit #7623. The crystal like substance weighed a total amount of 2.1 grams with packaging which was weighed on an OHAUS scale model number C305-P serial number 23392 located at the jail.
The defendant was issued a total bond amount of $8,000.00 and given a court date of 01-09-18 at 0900 hours in Courtroom D of the Hernando County Courthouse.”

Arrest Summary Excerpt: “On 12/16/17, I was dispatched to the residence of … Rock Duck Avenue, Brooksville, Hernando County, Florida 34614 and made contact with the victim, Kelly Ann P., in reference to the stolen vehicle call that was dispatched.
Kelly stated that on this date around 0830 hours, she woke up and saw that her red 2002 Ford Expedition… was missing. Kelly stated the defendant, Kenneth James Eugene Harbaugh, stole her truck keys while she was sleeping and took her 2002 Ford Expedition without her permission. Kelly attempted to contact the defendant many times via the Facebook Messenger Application and phone calls which Kelly showed to this deputy. Kelly also stated that the defendant’s girlfriend was with him. It should be known that Kelly did not want to provide the name of the defendant’s girlfriend. Kelly stated that the defendant eventually replied back to one of the texts which stated, “I’m getting my car then dropping yea off sorry I had to do a couple things”. Kelly stated three hours later the defendant still failed to return her 2002 Ford Expedition, at which time she notified law enforcement. Kelly provided an affidavit of stolen vehicle.
While interviewing Kelly, other units investigating a retail theft at the Bealls Department Store located at 13190 Cortez Boulevard, Brooksville, Hernando County, Florida had located Kelly’s vehicle. The defendant and Kelly Ann Montgomery were both detained by Deputy L.
I did respond to said Bealls department store where contact was made with the defendant. Deputy L advised he had already advised the defendant of his Miranda rights and the defendant was willing to speak with him. I then interviewed the defendant and he stated that he did remove the keys from the residence while Kelly was sleeping and left the property with the 2002 Ford Expedition. The defendant stated that he claimed to have asked Kelly to borrow the vehicle and she “mumbled something”. The defendant also stated that he planned on returning the vehicle later in the day but needed it to run errands. The defendant stated that he was aware of Kelly trying to contact him multiple times but wanted to meet up with Kelly later at the Bealls Department Store to return the 2002 Ford Expedition. It should be known that the defendant’s girlfriend, Kelly Montgomery, was with the defendant for the entire duration of this incident and was later detained by Deputy Cameron. The defendant stated that at first Kelly Montgomery didn’t know the vehicle was taken without permission but later knew the vehicle was taken without permission a few hours prior to both of their arrest. It should be known that the defendant later changed his statement by advising this Deputy that Kelly Montgomery only knew that the defendant was just borrowing the vehicle. The defendant then recanted and stated, “I was just renting the vehicle”. Kelly Montgomery was arrested for an unrelated retail theft from the Bealls Department Store.
It should be noted upon the defendant’s arrest the keys to the 2002 Ford Expedition were found in his possession and he was observed by the deputies going to and from the driver’s seat multiple times.
The defendant was placed under arrest and was transported to the Hernando County Detention center and is being held on a $2,000.00 bond. The defendant was issued Uniform Traffic Citation, number A9E452E for Grand Theft Auto. The defendant was issued a court date of 01/09/2018 at 0900 hours at the Hernando County Courthouse.”
