Sunday, Feb. 25 saw Brawl USA team up with Ability Tree Florida to bring the Golden Ticket Rumble to Spring Hill.
This was the rescheduled event that was originally anticipated to take place on Jan. 28, but was cancelled due to inclement weather. This time, the weather held and the fans and performers were treated to clear skies and warm temperatures. It could not have been nicer weather.
Hosted outside Rookies Sports Bar and Grill, the event helped raise money for Ability Tree, an organization that helps families with disabled children maintain an active lifestyle, regardless of their disability.
“Ability Tree comes alongside individuals and families impacted by disability through recreation, education, support, and training (R.E.S.T.) We aim to partner with individuals and organizations to raise awareness and build support networks to strengthen and grow able families,” their website states.
This made partnering with Brawl USA a simple decision. Run by James Richartz, Brawl USA runs events in Pasco and Hernando County often, while also raising money for various charities and organizations. They are currently in talks to have an event to raise money for children to go on a school trip, as Richartz says that any child who has earned a class trip deserves to go.
The wrestling show hosted an over the top rope battle royal and five other matches, including two title matches. There was a lot of fun crowd interaction, especially during the intermission, which saw some of the more popular “Brawl Stars” come out to pose for pictures and autographs.
