Philly’s Best
Saturday evening had my wife and I looking for some “junk food” before we went for a couple of beers at Marker 48 Brewing (which is fantastic if you haven’t been).
After some debate we settled on Phillys Best for a cheesesteak. My wife had never been, so she was excited to try it.
We both ordered a Floridian (half for her and full for me) and fries which are hand cut and fried to perfection.
There’s no denying that they do a great cheesesteak. The cheese is melted perfectly into the meat making a meaty gooey delicious morsel to satisfy the hungriest of patrons. It a fantastic cheesesteak in a county where we are lucky to have a few really good places for them (I’m talking about Richie Cheesesteak for one).
If I’m ever looking for a cheesesteak this is always one of the first places I think of, even if it is the other side of town from me.

Steak Boss
Ok, let’s just stop everything for a minute…
A bunch of you told me about the cheesesteaks at Steak Boss. It has been a long time since I had one there although I have tried some of their other stuff. So I was in a rush to get down to Palm Harbor, hadn’t eaten and decided to give it a go.
Holy sh*t guys. You weren’t wrong. This thing is awesome. SOOO tasty. Really good steak, piping hot, mushrooms, a sweetness from the peppers, the cheese was perfectly melted and folded in. This is one of the better surprises I have had eating out recently. It may even be better than Philly’s Best. It’s that good.

Richie Cheesesteak
Every now and again, the fat boy in me can’t resist a full, large cheesesteak from Richie Cheesesteak. Can’t wait until they open just down the road from me. Looking like they will be in by July hopefully!!! Opening another location on SHD and Barclay.
