There is a new Thai restaurant in town. The Have a Good Day Thai Cuisine restaurant is located between 5 Below and Moe’s in the Cortez Commons shopping center. It opened March 9, 2016.
You can dine in or carry out. You probably should plan to carry out as the the seating is limited. On one side there is seating for six and on the other side there is seating for four.
Their menu may seem confusing at first. They offer a choice of four combos and there are choices of what dishes you would like to add from there. Basically you choose rice or noodles and then what Thai dishes you want to add to the them.
We tried the appetizers. There was Thai Satay (chicken on a stick), spring rolls, and fried wontons. We tried the following dinner combos: sticky rice with fried chicken which was a hit with the kids, steamed rice with Massaman curry and stir fried chicken with cashew nuts. The green papaya salad gives you the option of spicy or not, we tried both. All the food was excellent. I particularly enjoyed the Massaman curry which was a creamy coconut delight with perfect amount of heat and spice.
