Florida Agriculture and Wildlife Expo kicked off their annual four day event on November 5th, 2015 in Brooksville.
“We wanted to see more agriculture, equine, also educate the public more on agriculture not only just crops and livestock, but hunting, fishing and wildlife portions as well,” said Deanna Naugler, President of the Board.
The event had been laid out with vendors as well livestock and agriculture businesses on this beautiful, endless view of land. Each day during the expo included live entertainment and shows, even a goat show. On Sunday was the Horse Obstacle Course event.
“I think the obstacles are wonderful, well thought out.” Bonnie Twardousky said. Twardousky competed in the Horse Obstacle Course with Sunny Delight, a Quaterhorse, who is just one of three she owns here in Brooksville. “We are grateful to have them so close, it’s wonderful.”
Patrons got the opportunity to get close to all sorts of animal livestock and ask questions. The livestock tent was filled with different breeds of cows, as well as different breeds of bunnies.
“Big family event, and that’s want we want to do and offer here at the expo.” Naugler said.
