As Hurricane Irma moves toward our area, we have taken steps to continue operations and keep our patients and staff safe. The hospitals remain open, and our skilled physicians, nurses and other employees are equipped to continue caring for patients in the hospital, as well as those who may come with emergency medical needs.

Elective procedures for September 11th have been canceled. We will reschedule elective services and surgeries as soon as possible after the storm. All Bayfront Health Medical Group clinics including pediatrics, My Gynecologist, and Florida Endoscopy and Hernando Endoscopy Surgery Centers are closed September 11th. Regular office hours will resume as soon as possible.

Shelter during the storm is being provided by Hernando County. 6th hurricane shelter opens in Hernando The hospital is not operating as a public shelter. Only individuals experiencing a medical emergency will be allowed to enter. At Bayfront Health Spring Hill employees (and their families) are required to check-in at the Administration office and at Brooksville they should check in at Conference Room 1&2 before reporting to their unit or department starting Sunday, September 10th and throughout the storm.
