Nature couldn’t give Hernando County a better day of sunshine and clear blue skies for their 41st Annual Brooksville Christmas Parade.
“Small town America at its best; is the way I describe it.” Mark Taylor, past President of the Kiwanis Club. “I love seeing so many kids out watching this.”
The parade started on Howell Ave near Hernando High School and travelled down to North Broad Street, and starting off the Parade our finest men and women that serve Hernando County’s Law and Fire Department. The sidewalks and curbs were lined with children in hopes to catch some candy and bead being tossed to them as the floats pass by.
“Our focus is the children, and when we see the children having fun and it’s just a wonderful event that brings everyone together, it’s just priceless.” Kiwanis Governor Dr. Celia Earle.
“I honestly think it’s perfect, there is nothing I would add or take away.” Earle said.
With over one hundred floats that participated in this season Christmas Parade, the long awaited and more wanted was at end of the line, Santa.
