Hernando County’s Little Rock Cannery, located at 15487 Citrus Way in Brooksville, is currently closed for planned maintenance through July 30, 2017. National Dance Day

The YMCA will celebrate National Dance Day from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, July 22, 2017 at the Hernando County Family YMCA located at 1300 Mariner Blvd. Five local dance instructors will teach a dance routine prepared by the So You Think You Can Dance. The public is invited to attend.

Computers wanted, dead or alive

UUCIP is collecting computers to teach homeless people how to use them. Help the homeless find—and keep!–employment. Any make or model computer with a windows platform is appreciated. Youth Orchestra seeks young musicians

Aspiring musicians, ages 6 to18, would you like to play in a real orchestra?  Our repertoire is largely classical, but we mix it up.  We present several concerts every year. Need lessons?
