The Florida Criminal Justice Executive Institute’s Executive Leadership seminar is “an educational opportunity for upper level managers within Florida criminal justice organizations and seeks to provide a continuing education forum for the development and refinement of leadership skills for Florida’s criminal justice executives.”
Captain Cyrus Robinson along with his classmates were trained in communicating through a crisis, critical thinking, leading people, managing organizations, overcoming adversity, emotional intelligence and servant leadership. This was the fifth graduating class. The program has now graduated 100 individuals from agencies statewide.
The program “was established in 1990 by the Florida Legislature to address the need for an innovative and multi-faceted approach to the education and training of criminal justice professionals.”
It is a 3 week long seminar conducted in Tallahassee at FDLE Headquarters.
