Cause FORE Paws
Friday was a beautiful day at Brooksville Country club, as well as a furiffic one for some cute, adorable, loving dogs that accompanied their buddy volunteers. April 1st marked the 7th annual Cause FORE Paws event for Humane Society Nature Coast. It was the fourth year being held at Brooksville Country Club.
“Events like these have two purposes to raise funds and raise awareness and both of those things are necessary for the overall mission which is to increase adoptions, and to help neglected and homeless pets. That’s our ultimate goal, that’s our holy grail,” said Jeff Webb Secretary of the Board of Directors for the Humane Society of the Nature Coast . “We are proud to report that adoptions are up, we are saving more lives and events like this make it happen.”
With over one hundred golfers that signed up for the tournament, all the proceeds forward to the Humane Society of the Nature Coast, this a great achievement for these pets to have a safer place to sleep as well as a future place to call home.
“We are their voice; my passion is always been to see every animal to have a forever home,” said Lisa Judge, President of the Humane Society Nature Coast.
