On August 22nd first responders gathered at Genarro’s Pizza in Weeki Wachee to honor the contributions of Alan R. Regis. Mr. Regis retired after 32 years from the Spring Hill Fire Rescue as a Captain. He also performed emergency services at Talladega and Daytona Speedway alongside other Hernando County firefighters. He passed away June 16, 2016 at 53 years old.
Four fire trucks, police, and many other first responders assembled at Genarro’s, which had opened especially for this event. They sat down for a lunch prepared by Chef Joe and remembered their friend. Many dignitaries from the community also came out to show their respect.
