Food trucks filled appetites and Weeki Wachee High School courtyard
Weeki Wachee High School and the Hernando County Chamber of Commerce hosted the third annual Hernando County Food Truck Fiesta on Friday, May 13th.
The event had a great variety of food truck vendors offering everything from hot dogs to tasty desserts, as well as games and entertainment.
“It’s a very family friendly event, and for this event it brings people out and gives us the opportunity to connect to them,” said Troy LaBarbara, Principal for Weeki Wachee High School. “It brings people to see my beautiful school and it also gives the students the opportunity to learn about business and how to put on an event like this. It’s good for the community.”
Amongst the entertainment for Friday night was Hernando County’s Got Talent, singers and dancers performed on stage in the main courtyard.
With many Hernando County families and friends that attended this event… the atmosphere was filled with smiles and laughter.
