Over the past week, detectives with the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office Vice and Narcotics Unit executed three residential search warrants within Hernando County.
The search warrants were the result of lengthy investigations where undercover operatives were able to purchase narcotics from individuals in each of the residences. Detectives were made aware of illegal drug activity at each residence after neighborhood complaints were received by the Sheriff’s Office.
On 11-28-16, the first search warrant was executed at 2162 Linwood Avenue in Spring Hill, the residence of Jessica Santiago-Weber, Julio Feliciano, and Michael Faccone.
Pursuant to the search warrant, detectives located controlled substances, marijuana, methamphetamine, and numerous drug paraphernalia items.
The following individuals were arrested on scene and charged as follows:
• Jessica Santiago-Weber W/F 09-30-1983
• Possession of Narcotics with Intent to Sell/Deliver
• Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
• Possession of Methamphetamine
• Possession of Marijuana
• Bond $8,500
• Alton Johnson B/M 01-05-1981
• Possession of Controlled Substance
• Possession of Marijuana
• Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
• Bond $4,000
• Michael Faccone W/M 05-01-1955
• Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
• Bond $1,000.
The individual listed below has active warrants as a result of the Linwood Ave. investigation:
• Julio Feliciano W/M 01-11-1987
• Sale and Possession of Controlled Substance
• Unlawful use of Two-Way Communication Device.
On 11-30-16, the second search warrant was executed at 2379 Summerfield Avenue in Spring Hill, the residence of James Dabal.
Pursuant to the search warrant, detectives located controlled substances, marijuana and numerous drug paraphernalia items.
The following individuals were arrested on scene and charged as follows:

• Possession of Paraphernalia
• Possession of a Structure for the Sale and Delivery of Narcotics

• Ryan Boyce W/M 07-04-1991
• Possession of Controlled Substance
• Possession of Marijuana and Hashish
• Possession of Paraphernalia
• Bond $5,000
• Nicholas Hager W/M 04-21-1995
• Possession of Marijuana over 20 grams
• Possession of Paraphernalia
• Bond $2,500
• Brittany Behnke W/F 11-08-1994
• Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
• Notice to Appear Issued.
On 12-01-16, the third search warrant was executed at 6074 Nantucket Lane in Spring Hill, the residence of Mark Hanshaw.
Pursuant to the search warrant, detectives located controlled substances, marijuana, and numerous drug paraphernalia items.
The following individuals were arrested on scene and charged as follows:
• Mark Hanshaw W/M 06-27-1985
• Driving on a Suspended License (habitual offender)
• Possession of a Controlled Substance
• Possession of Marijuana
• Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
• Bond $5,000
• Jordan Potter W/F 02-06-1993
• Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
• Possession of Marijuana
• Notice to Appear Issued.
Sheriff Al Nienhuis said, “People’s possessions are not safe when a drug user is looking for money and local businesses cannot prosper without a sober workforce. Law enforcement and the families of drug users get to see, firsthand, how devastating drugs are to the drug user’s initiative and, consequently, the community’s economic recovery. The Hernando County Sheriff’s Office is dedicated to making sure the individuals responsible for peddling blight are held accountable.”
At the conclusion of each search warrant, detectives spoke with neighbors in the immediate area. In each case, neighbors expressed their gratitude to the detectives for removing the criminal activity from the area.
