Dispatch had received several calls from PAGER asking for medical assistance. However he failed to provide them with his location. He continued to call back and curse at dispatch because rescue was not on scene. Ofc Derryberry was able to locate PAGER lying in an ally next to 161 E Jefferson St. Despite previously wanting help, he refused to comply with EMS. He became loud and belligerent with them. When EMS personnel attempted to help him to his feet he kicked one of them multiple times. At that time he was placed under arrest and transported to the Hernando County Jail. He is held on a $5,000 bond.”

Arrest Summary Excerpt: “On 04/13/2017, affiant was dispatched to the Denny’s restaurant, located at 1445 Wendy Ct. in reference to serving a warrant. Upon arrival, Sgt. J. Stokes advised me that he observed the defendant to be in the front parking lot of Walmart Supercenter located at 1485 Commercial Way, in Spring Hill, Hernando County, and had asked the defendant to stop the vehicle he was driving (older model blue GMC pick up truck). Sgt. J. Stokes advised that when he placed his hand in front of the vehicle, the defendant had fled the parking lot quickly and refused to stop.
A short time later, Deputy T. Istvan located this vehicle driven by the defendant near the front doors of the Walmart Supercenter. Deputy Istvan advised he activated his emergency lights and siren in his agency issued patrol car, where the defendant failed to stop and proceeded down an aisle of the parking lot at Walmart. After having his siren activated for approximately 15 seconds, the defendant stopped his vehicle in the front parking lot of Denny’s. The defendant was then placed into custody for the above listed charges along with an active Hernando County Capias under case number 2017-11196.
The defendant was transported to the Hernando County Jail without incident and given a court date of 05/08/2017 at 0830 hours, in Courtroom E. Defendant was placed on a total bond of $3,000. The defendant was also issued a Criminal Traffic Citation A7EGW5E for Fleeing to Elude.”

Arrest Summary Excerpt: “On April 15, 2017 while on routine patrol l witnessed a dark colored street bike pass me northbound on Commercial Way with green under glow lights and no tag. Once behind the motorcycle l attempted to conduct a traffic stop in the area of Centralia Road, at which time the defendant continued driving northbound on Commercial Way while continuously looking back at me. The defendant then turned the motorcycle across the northbound lanes of traffic, through the median, and then began driving southbound on Commercial Way almost hitting several cars in the process. At that time the motorcycle’s engine shut off and the motorcycle began rolling southbound. The driver appeared to be attempting to flee off the motorcycle on foot at which time pulled my patrol vehicle ahead of the motorcycle and while exiting my vehicle, the defendant’s motorcycle struck my patrol vehicle. Once in custody, the defendant spontaneously advised me that there was marijuana wax, marijuana, and “molly’ in his backpack. A search of the defendant’s backpack located marijuana wax which weighed 3.0 grams (with wax paper), 7.3 grams of marijuana wax (including small plastic container), 0.3 grams of crystal like substance which tested positive for MDMA weighing 0.3 grams, and 1.9 grams of marijuana. The backpack also contained a digital scale with marijuana residue on it, 3 glass pipes with marijuana and MDMA residue, a straw with MDMA residue, a metal scalpel with marijuana residue, and 20 small clear plastic baggies.
The defendant was placed under arrest and transported to the Hernando County Jail without further incident.
The defendant’s bond was placed at $8000 bond per the bond schedule.”
