THE PIRATES

by HANNA FOX, AGE 12

Once there was a gang of pirates sailing the ocean to get gold and valuable objects. But the problem was that they did not care where they got the items from. What really mattered is that they got what they wanted. One day there was a giant cruise ship sailing across the sea, apparently trying to get to Moscow, Russia one of the richest cities in the world. However, they got spotted by The Pirates, one of the most gruesome pirate associations besides Zheng Yi Sao. They always got what they wanted because you probably would die or be held hostage if you did not provide The Pirates with what they wanted immediately.

The Pirates attacked the cruise ship taking the gold for themselves making the boat theirs and the survivors were turned into workers and slaves on the ship.

But one stormy evening the boat got caught up in a giant storm and they were marooned on an island, only 8 people survived. They used the wood to make a flatboat and instruments. This crew was a very happy crew and they were always looking for a new adventure, never dwelling on that horrid stormy night. They sailed for days and days on end. Many people would refer to them as the Jolly Flatboat. When they sailed past cities or stopped in towns, people would shout, “The Jolly Flatboat!” They also had parades and parties. After along career of sailing the men retired and got married to beautiful young ladies and they lived happily ever after.
