Without much ado or fanfare, a new store has quietly emerged on our scene. It’s located on County Line Road in Spring Hill and a wholesaler and leading distributor, importer of equipment that promotes the production and preparation of nutritional foods and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
The business is called Good4U and is owned and operated by Vickie Galanti.
From everyday kitchen prepping utensils to some that are highly sophisticated, Good4U has many of the functional kitchen accessories you need to complement any style of kitchen.
Galanti likes to call her store “a healthy lifestyle marketplace dedicated to the care and feeding of you.”
“I’m always doing research for the latest thing and making sure we have the essential kitchen tools and gadgets ideal for all your baking and cooking needs,” she said.
“We’ve over 20 years experience in this field, which speaks to our capabilities,” said Galanti. “We offer wholesale equipment such as juicers, blenders, espresso coffeemakers and many other exceptional commodities for healthy living, like herbs, spices and essential oils,” she said.
Galanti said her father started the business with just one juicer but said she had a real passion for kitchen equipment so she merged the two.
“It’s a health and gourmet kitchen store that’s had a baby,” she laughed.
If you love roaming around a good kitchen shop, this is the place to come. The store is full to the rafters with products so be prepared to browse for a while. It has well organized aisles featuring a huge selection of gourmet kitchen items like espresso coffeemakers, pots and pans, and Creuset cookware to gadgets that cost a few dollars.
One such useful low-cost item is the “Cover Blubber.” It’s a super stretchy food cover that stretches and clings and form-fits food itself or on containers and a safe alternative to plastic wrap. It comes in a range of gorgeous shapes and colors.
We all know the kitchen is the most important gathering room in the house whether you’re creating meals for a large family or just cooking for two. Having that perfect selection of herbs and spices and kitchen cookware and utensils on hand can make the difference between an ‘OK’ meal or a “wow” meal for family or guests.
With that in mind, Galanti said that sourcing a good supply of herbs and spices is paramount.
“We carry the Frontier brand herbs and spices,” she said. “They’re committed to the health and welfare of the environment and set very high quality specifications.”
“One thing to remember,” said Galanti, “is if you are buying good quality herbs and spices, then you won’t need to use as much and we sell everything by the ounce or the pound.”
The same high quality specifications apply to Good4U’s selection of vitamins and essential oils, teas and coffees from Java Planet.
“We research and look for products that are pure, plant-based and top of the line,” she said. “All our products are top of the line at bottom line costs.”
Galanti’s longterm vision is to make Good4U a gathering place. A place where we can talk to people about health and wellness.
“Eventually, we will be starting a co-op and market all organic food and vegetables,” she said. “But,” said Galanti, “my focus for customers is on living healthy and not having to rely on taking vitamins every day.”
Browsing at Good4U can prove to be an educational experience and when you’re done browsing and getting great advice on food, vitamins and minerals retire to a corner of the store devoted solely as a place to ‘hang out’ and enjoy a free cup of coffee or tea. It will also have a juice bar and provide panini sandwiches too. Soon there will be an open entertainment area set up with musical instruments for those customers who would like to jam while they shop.
“Everyone is welcome to come and jam,” said Galanti. “This place is where you can come, relax and do some shopping to make your life easier.”
Galanti said she will continue to expand the business to include a wedding gift registry, dinnerware, flatware, tabletop merchandise and more philanthropic community events.
Good4U also vows to meet the needs of wholesale clients as well as our respective retail customers.
“We match all Internet pricing so you will never pay high prices,” she said.
