On May 5, 2017 the Florida Supreme Court placed attorney Brian Christopher Morris on emergency suspension from the practice of law pursuant to Rule 3-5.2 EMERGENCY SUSPENSION AND INTERIM PROBATION OR INTERIM PLACEMENT ON THE INACTIVE LIST FOR INCAPACITY NOT RELATED TO MISCONDUCT. Mr. Morris was ordered to stop disbursing or withdrawing any monies from any trust account related to his law practice.

He was also recently reprimanded by the Supreme Court of Florida on February 9, 2017 for failing to comply in a timely manner with a subpoena duces tecum (court summons) for trust accounting records. He was fined $1,250.00. He complied with the subpoena, but is required to do so completely and in a timely manner.
Mr. Morris earned his Juris Doctor from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School. He earned his Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Speech Communications from Pennsylvania State University. He is licensed to practice law in the States of New York and Florida. His areas of practice included divorce, bankruptcy, foreclosure, and general civil litigation. He has a law office in Spring Hill.
