(Brooksville, FL) Duke Energy will be transporting an oversized transformer from Citrus County to Hernando County starting the night of January 29 until 7 a.m. January 30, 2018. The transport will be entering Hernando County from the US 98 and US 19 intersection. The route is as follows:
South on US19 to Hexam Road
East on Hexam Road to Sunshine Grove Road
South on Sunshine Grove Road to a Duke Energy site adjacent to the intersection of SR50 and Sunshine Grove Road
The transport will have Florida Highway Patrol escorts. Motorists should expect delays along this route and will need to wait on the side of the road until the transport has passed.
