CRYSTAL RIVER
SATURDAY, FEB. 17, 2018 9 AM TO 4 PM

To join us at this Craft Show andChili Cook-off, you will be visiting a part of Old Florida, traveling on a country road through the sawgrass and protected marshlands which abound with wildlife of all kinds!

The Craft show offers a myriad of unique and beautiful items for sale, a selection of foods and of course a raffle for a new kayak with accessories.

The Chili cook-off is always fun. The public is offered a chance to taste and vote for their favorite chili prepared by up to 30 local entrants. Or they may choose to enjoy a chili dinner inside the clubhouse.

Ozello is one of the few places left in Florida that one can see up close, eagles, otters, manatees, dolphins, anhingas, songbirds, and of course scallops! All cohabitating the way they have for centuries. The entire area has a historic feel to it and the sunrises and sunsets are amazing.

There is the eclectic group of people who love to live there, and give back to their community in some measure.  The Chili Fest is just one of those ways. The Ozello Civic Association is a nonprofit group of people who donate their time and a good portion of the proceeds, from the different events they hold, to various local charities of their choosing. The charities are selected each year by member vote. The OCA also donates a Scholarship for some worthy student (s)to help them with their education.
