FurEver Friendz held their first Prom for Paws event at the Palace Grand in Spring Hill Saturday Night.

Not only was this event to raise awareness about rescues but it also was a great reason to get all dressed up. The Palace Grand was filled with wonderful ladies wearing beautiful evening gowns and prom dresses as well as gentlemen sporting tuxedos.
“This is our first big event,” said Debra Sarver “We want people to have a good time and to know who we are.”
Michele Skolny, co-founder and Debra Sarver, Director and co-founder have operated the dog rescue in Spring Hill since 2014.
“I answered her ad about a puppy and we bonded instantly; I did rescue as well as her and that’s how we kind of connected,” Sarver said.
Skolny worked with many rescues for several years and decided that it was time for her to start her own adventure. Skolny contacted Sarver and FurEver Friendz was created.
