They currently have two locations: one at Countryside in Clearwater and one on US 19 in Spring Hill. They are opening a third location at Mariner Square in early April.
The Greek City Cafe is probably as authentic as you will find outside of Tarpon Springs. The gyro meat is sliced as needed from upright spinning spits. Their gyro wrap consists of warmed flatbread, onions, tomato, and tzatziki sauce. You can either have a side of chips or for a few dollars more you can have it as a platter with a small greek salad.
The Greek salad is the house speciality. They are very proud of their dressing and you can purchase a bottle from them. The salad comes with a side of potato salad. They make a good lunch.
They also provides catering. The Annual Greek Festival at the Hernando County Fairgrounds has used them as a caterer, so if you ate at that event you most likely have already tasted their food.
