SHAA playoff games were held this year at Veterans Memorial Park 12254 Spring Hill Drive, Spring Hill, Fl 34609. Playoff games started at 9 am and went on into the night. Teams battled it out from each division to take this year’s 2017 Championship. Cheerleaders were cheering for the teams as they played, and performed an outstanding halftime performance.
SHAA consist of 3 age divisions. Division 1 ages 5-8, division 2 ages 9-10 and division 3 ages 11-13.

2017 Championship game results by Division:
Division 1
The Warriors battled against the Gators. Warriors took the win for the 2017 championship.
Coach Ryan Cheek stated that the Warriors started off a little sloppy, but turned it around to take the win. Coach Ryan Cheek is moving up a division next year and taking some of the older players with him.
Division 2
The Knights battled against the Seminoles. Knights took the win for the 2017 championship, for the second year in a row of being undefeated. Coach Glenn Bower was pleased with the way his team played and will also be moving up to the next division. Coach Glenn Bower gave this year’s trophy to Asst. Coach Angel Millan. Coach Millan has coached with coach Bower for two undefeated seasons and they will go together to the next division.
Division 3
The Eagles battled against the Predators. The Eagles took the 2017 Championship. This game was truly a battle of talented players. Players and fans from last year were in attendance to watch their teams play for this year’s playoff.
From behind my camera lens as a sports photographer for 9 years, there is a lot of talented players on the field. One stood out to me in division 2: Christian Millan Cromer. He is one to keep an eye on for middle and high school- he is going to be a beast. Other standout players included Eagles No. 15 Makavian Stanley-Outlaw and Predators player No. 29 Kolby Oudeans. These players will be talent to watch for in the high school level for sure.
