A shooting occurred around 10:30 am on March 16 at the corner of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Twigg Street. A male caller who had been shot notified the 9-1-1 dispatcher at 10:32 a.m.
The victim was uncooperative with law enforcement when they arrived, but was air lifted to a local trauma center. According to the Sheriff’s Office his injuries are currently considered non-life threatening. Detectives are in the area investigating the incident and are trying to identify any witnesses.
