- There was a shelter available overnight; however, there was no demand.
- Power Companies are reporting approximately 4,000 residents without power at this time. Power companies are working diligently at this time to restore power. We have been advised this may take some time.
- All MAIN ROADWAYS in Hernando County are passable at this time. Please use caution when traveling, as there may be debris and/or water on roadways.
- Many side roads in coastal areas remain CLOSED due to debris and water on road.
- A structure fire was reported at an address on Mangrove Drive in Hernando Beach. The homeowner addressed the fire with a garden hose. Both Hernando Beach Fire Department and Hernando County Fire/Rescue responded. No injuries reported.
- FWC (using an 18-foot john boat) rescued two individuals from a residence on Minnow Creek Drive in Hernando Beach.
- FWC (using a 16-foot john boat) rescued one individual (female) from Ray Drive in Weeki Wachee.
- FWC (using a marked FWC vehicle) rescued a pregnant female and her 5-year old child from Wimberley Court in Weeki Wachee. They did not have transportation and water was at their back door.
- All persons rescued went to homes of families/friends.
- Damage assessment teams will be assembled and will be deployed later today.
