CARES Rescue is an animal shelter in Brooksville, FL. One of their doggies, Stubin, was dropped off in front of Hernando County animal services in a crate.
A good samaritan found him and because of his condition, couldn’t identify what kind of dog he is.
The CARES organization explains, “After hours of grooming, we discovered the most wonderful, loving, silly, and playful senior Cocker Spaniel. Stubin may have cataracts, but that does not slow him down. He loves everyone he meets, loves to throw his toys up in the air and catch them, and even plays chase with the other dogs in the rescue. Stubin may have been thrown away like a piece of trash, but we were rewarded with a treasure. ”
Stubin is now a top ten finalist in the Wahl Dirty Dog Contest. CARES, a non-profit shelter, could win up to $5000 if Stubin wins the contest.
