There are lots of cabanas for hire, but there’s also natural shade as the beaches are backed by trees and vegetation. Strung between the trees and sea grass are hammocks where one can cool off in the shade. Getting to the beach was a breeze through paths lined with native flowers and shrubs, and quacking ducks, winding down from the main hotel and apartments towards the beach.
Trade Winds organizes daily activities for children of all ages. With kids’ well-being and creativity in mind, Lil Guys and KONK Clubs help children ages 4-12 connect with their environment and learn about their destination.
The resort has a selection of restaurants to please any palate.
Eat casually at the unique Flying Bridge — a floating Florida cracker cottage, docked permanently over the waterway. Watch paddleboats pass beneath as you eat grouper and chicken sandwiches in this laid-back restaurant, complete with a beachfront deck.
Other restaurants include the elegant Palm Court Bistro. Diners can eat indoors surrounded by colorful artwork, or outdoors , in the open-air ambiance of the
Grand Palm Colonnade. Bermudas offers a buffet-style breakfast with a spectacular waterside view.
RumFish Grill offers the finest Florida seafood plus a 33,500-gallon aquarium.
