Peggy Pope has been crowned the 2017-2018 Gamma Xi Master, Beta Sigma Phi Sorority Valentine Queen during their Mardi Gras themed Valentine Ball at Southern Hills Plantation.
Peggy has been a resident of Brooksville for the past seven years. She moved from Texas in 2006 after being widowed in 2003. She is the proud mother of one daughter and grandmother to three beautiful grandchildren.
Since moving to Brooksville she has become involved in many different organizations including:
Board member of the Hernando Fine Arts Council.
Volunteer Coordinator for Art in the Park 2017 and 2018.
Sorority member of Beta Sigma Phi Gamma Master XI since 2016.
Previously served as a officer in Brooksville Garden Club.
Member of Friends of Chinsegut Hill.
Assisted in The Life Center.
Volunteered in the classroom at Eastside Elementary.
Previously Volunteer Coordinator for Operation Heartfelt.
Worked in the Blueberry Festival the past two years.
On two Bowling Leagues in Brooksville and bowls weekly
