Dating back to the mid-16th century, the Nüremberg Christkindlesmarkt (meaning “Christ Child’s Market”) took place in the Main Market Square of the city and consisted of up to 140 craftsmen selling their goods and wares in stalls. We are bringing it to Brooksville, again!! We will be serving German Food, German Pastries, Hot mulled wine, and local craft beer from Marker 48 Brewing. Holiday gifts, artisans, handcrafts, music and dancing and more. Unique holiday gift items, wonderful food, music and entertainment. Admission is free. Take your picture with our Olde World Santa and our Christmas Angel.

THE MOST AWESOME CHRISTMAS PARTY EVER

The Calvary Church of the Nazarene is hosting “The Most Awesome Christmas Party Ever” for families, neighbors and friends on Saturday, Dec. 10 from at 235 Cobblestone Drive in Spring Hill.
The event will feature Christmas music, cocoa and cookies and a live Nativity scene. There will be games to de-stress and enjoy a few hours of community fun along with prizes for kids, teens and adults which will include gifts and gift cards from local businesses.
There will be an opportunity to have a photo taken with Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus for each family. Free haircuts for children age 4 to 16 years will also be available.
Children aged 4 to 12 years old that do not generally have the opportunity or ability to give gifts to those they care for can select and wrap gifts for each of their siblings and parents.“The Most Awesome C hristmas Party Ever” begins at noon until 4 p.m.

Visit Mrs. Claus’ kitchen and decorate your own cookie, see the Parade of Trees and light displays, stop by Santa’s workshop and make a craft to take home, and have fun at the Magical Playland. Cuddle up for an old Florida-style sleigh ride and stop at the live Nativity Scene. There will also be pony rides and a Lego display.

WINTER CAR SHOW AND CHRISTMAS BAZAAR
SATURDAY DEC. 10 9AM-1PM
The event takes place at the Hernando County YMCA, 1300 Mariner Bvld., Spring Hill.
Featured will be vendors, food trucks, gift wrapping, vendors and kids Christmas shopping opportunities.
Fees are $10 for cars (VFW will be judging), $25 for food trucks and vendors.
The fundraiser will benefit a program designed to provide teens the opportunity for leadership training, personal growth, and social development. Cheers and Gears & Christmas Bazaar is to support leaders attending Blue Ridge Leaders School.
This is a one-week leadership school that teaches teens about personal leadership abilities and how to bring those qualities and skills back to their local communities to lead others.
Leaders will help plan and participate in teen events, activities and programs, as well as provide volunteer services around the branch and in the community.
All proceeds benefit the Teen Leaders Club at the Hernando County YMCA.
