Boating In Florida is looking for volunteers willing to spend between two and a half to three hours to help them clean up the Weeki Wachee River. The river cleanup starts at 8am sharp, with arrival time at the boathouse being 7:30am. All participants will spend approximately 4 hours on the river.
This is an ongoing effort to not only clean the river but to connect with the surrounding communities and help educate everyone from boaters, paddlers, jet skiers, kayakers and people just walking along the river to stop leaving their trash in or about the banks of our beautiful river.
